i’m not a fan of the originals or anything but the rebooted movie that precedes this was pretty awesome.

predictable, but i’m starting to feel that all movies are predictable the older i get haha

overall a great movie to watch in theaters

spock + kirk, one of my favorite bromances

benedict cumberpatch was really good

i just realized what bothered me the most about ros’ death in the latest episode… yes it was disturbing, but thats nothing new. joffrey is a little shit and so is littlefinger. i guess littlefinger did need something to make him a real player in the game again, but what bothered me about the whole ordeal is that varys DOES protect his little birds. idk, in the books i dont recall anyone under varys’ protection dying. then again, we dont really know who was under his protection. i guess the whole thing gave littlefinger too much of an upperhand and undermined varys way too much. but then again, maybe im just more of a varys enthusiast.

watched iron man 3 last night. entertaining movie. interesting twist, but id say it was relatively predictable. still fun though. definitely had a different feel to it than the first two, but thats to be expected. i did enjoy it. i thought iron man 2 was funnier, but that was probably because of sam rockwell. still was cheesy though lol. for some reason the first movie’s storyline seems the most well-written to me.. idk why. but id say that as the last installment of a trilogy, iron man 3 was done well enough. most times, third installments do too damn much and absolutely kill the movie (spiderman 3, xmen 3, the dark knight rises…). so good for you hollywood, for doing iron man 3 decently.

next to see is star trek: into darkness!!!

and then THOR: THE DARK WORLD!!!
